Don’t ruin Tobago*

The healthier the living environment, the better it is for the inhabitants. That's according to Secretary of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment Kwesi Des Vignes, who said he is concerned about the problem of illegal dumping in Tobago.

Des Vignes has described this behaviour as “beyond disturbing”, and added that it continues to tarnish Tobago's environment and reputation for being clean, green, safe, and serene. He said the Division will do whatever it can to prevent this practice. “We are very well aware of when our neighbours, our sisters, our brothers, our cousins... are dumping illegally,” he stated during the February 21 post Executive Council media briefing.
