Central, QPCC clash on opening day*

AFTER a couple of months of uncertainty, the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) domestic club season finally bowls off today with players and clubs having a lot to play for.
Despite a cut in prize money, the reversion to a two-day league competition and the removal of the Sunday League tournament, the domestic season is expected to be keenly contested as players seek to impress in hopes of securing Red Force retainer contracts for next season.
Players return to their respective clubs for the opening round today, knowing changes are expected after the Red Force finished last in the Regional Four-Day championship and failed to reach the Super50 semifinals.
