A severed arm and leg have now been found on Trinidad's north east coastline.
And police believe they know the identity of the person the limbs belong to.
On Monday evening, a man took Matura police officers to a beach in Balandra where the leg, severed below the knee, was found.
The man told police that he saw the limb on Sunday but was afraid to tell anyone.
He came forward after news spread that an arm was found at nearby Rincon beach.
Through fingerprint identification, police have identified the victim as a man from Penal. Police say the man is 53-years-old. His only conviction is for marijuana possession.
The man's identity is being withheld as officers contact the victim's relatives, and search for the rest of the body.
Corporal Kent of the Matura Police Station is investigating.
