Four cars with bogus plates, pistol, ganja seized in police raids*

POLICE seized a gun and four cars with false number plates along with a quantity of marijuana during an exercise in the Maracas Bay area.
The four cars were found at the Las Cuevas home of a man who is currently in remand on a charge of conspiracy to murder.
Police said that between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force received information and went to the Maracas Bay Fishing Depot, where they found two kilos of kush marijuana, known as Columbi grade.
The drug has an estimated street value of $20,000.
Officers then went to St Michael Village, Las Cuevas, where they conducted a search of an abandoned lot of land and discovered one Beretta pistol, along with one magazine with two rounds of ammunition.
